Halle Berry has always been hot – remember that 007 scene? – but right now, she’s bangin’.
And she puts it down to the keto diet.
Luckily for us mere mortals, she’s happy to share just how she makes it work for her.
#PHIT Talks is her Instagram Stories “show” with her personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas and on Friday’s installment, she answered questions about going keto, dieting in general, and meal replacement shakes. Y’know, all the things that keep her in fantastic shape for someone half her 52 years.
Halle swears by the essential cheat day.
“I think cheating is really important,” she said.
“Sometimes you just have to eat what you want. You have to satisfy that craving, and that’s how you can come back better and stronger.”
While some people ease into the keto way of life, Halle chose to “jumped right in.”
“That’s my personality. I tend to jump right into things, tackle it, that’s me,” she said.
“If you’re not sure about the Keto lifestyle, take your time. Slowly get into it and see if this lifestyle works for you.”
The initial phase can be tough, so she recommended keeping an eye on your energy levels at the beginning.
“See how it makes you feel, how your hunger levels are, how your body feels, how you exercise,” she said.
As well as embracing cheat days, Halle supplemented her keto meal plans with PurelyPaleo by Designs For Health meal replacement shakes, MCT Colada dietary supplements and F-Bomb Nut Butter to snack on.
